How to Light Smudge Beads

Use metal tongs to hold a bead over a candle flame (matches or lighters won’t work effectively). Heat the side for about 30 seconds until it starts to smoulder, then place it in a heatproof dish or burner. Use in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable items, children, and pets. Fully extinguish with water or sand after use.
