For the best experience with our Herbal Charcoal disc, we recommend lighting them outdoors. Position them close to an entrance, allowing small drafts of smoke to enter your home and fill it with their beautiful fragrance. Please note that these herbal charcoal discs produce a lot of smoke so keep away from smoke alarm. 

🔥 How to Light a Charcoal Disk

Lighting your Disk correctly is key to a perfect cleanse.

1. Hold with a metal tong — Always use metal tongs to hold your charcoal. Avoid wooden, rubber, or plastic tongs as they can catch or melt near the flame.

2. Use a candle flame — Matches and lighters won’t work effectively. Hold your charcoal over a small candle flame for approximately 30 seconds, allowing the herbs to char and start smouldering.

3. Place in a heatproof container — Once lit, place it in a heatproof dish, bowl with sand, or burner. It will continue to smoulder and release fragrant smoke. Keep away from smoke alarms and flammable items.

4. Safety first — Use in a well-ventilated area, on heat-resistant surfaces. Never leave it unattended. Keep away from children and pets. Fully extinguish with water or sand before disposal.

⚠️ WARNING: It may expel material or produce flame while burning. When smoke appears, the product is already lit — do not bring it back to the flame. Never leave it unattended. It is recommended to use a censer/burner with a lid.

BURNING INCENSE: Never leave burning incense unattended and always keep out of reach of children or pets – charcoal and incense can become very hot during use. Always burn on a heat-proof surface, and safely dispose of ash only once it has cooled.
