Cacho seeds, peruvian ribbon~ These handmade seedpod rattles are also called “cachos", or "chach-chas” (because of the sound it makes). They are made in the Peruvian Amazon from Tanuni pods. The “cachos" are traditionally used throughout the Amazon as a percussion instrument in shamanic healing ceremonies. Often, they are sown or woven on a thin belt and wrapped on a stick, wrist, ankle, or waist for ceremonial dance. Some say it reminds them of the sound of heavy rain.
Listing is for 1 pc intutively picked ribbon Rattle.
